The play all, plays the entire DVD in a linear fashion, (beginning to end), the chapter search button once activated will bring you to a new submenu page which will have 6-10 chapter point buttons*, each one of these buttons will bring the viewer to specific sections of the program and then usually will continue on the linear timeline**, the contact or marketing button will bring the viewer to a still which can have contact info, web address, promotional items etc. A program like this with still back rounds and text buttons* (mask and highlight “rollover”) will run around $ 400-600 dollars depending upon the client prep work (supply time codes*** for chapter points, and background stills (artwork” for the menu’s).
PRE-MASTERING
Once the project is completed, a check disc will be sent to client, to confirm (proof) that the job is correct, additional changes which were not specified by client in the beginning will be subject to additional charges. Once approved the file is then preped for replication and burned to the proper media****. This can run from $ 50.00- $ 300.00.
